A mighty warrior

History tells us that wherever there is a vibrant church, the lot of the people will eventually improve.  The education improves, the wealth improves.  Why?  Because the people gain a healthier perspective of themselves.  

So how did God view Gideon?  Judges 6:12 (NIV) When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”  

God is saying, I view you differently.  I have a different perspective about you.  I see you not for what you are now but what you are meant to be.  A mighty warrior.  At first Gideon could not accept that.  But eventually it sank in.  And it changed his life.
