I have come to realise that it is important to be able to talk honestly with God about issues.
Exodus 5:22-23 (NIV) 22 Moses returned to the LORD and said, "O Lord, why have you brought trouble upon this people? Is this why you sent me? 23 Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble upon this people, and you have not rescued your people at all."
Moses began to talk honestly before God. It was not a complaining, whining, grumbling download. But it was an honest heart to heart. Moses had valid questions and issues to raise with God.
It is OK to be honest to God. To express your feelings with God. Although we should be mindful to be respectful. The prophet Habakkuk was frank with God. Hab 1:2 (NIV) How long, O LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save?
See how honest Habakkuk is to God about the situation?
