Good or bad company?

We must be careful about the company we keep. This is not to say we keep away from non-believers because that would neither be reasonable nor effective to reaching out to them.  This is not what the Scriptures is saying.  However, there are some who are like cancer in that their influence can destroy the souls of others.  It is with such people, that we must be extra careful. 

2 Timothy 2:16-18 (NIV) 16  Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17  Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18  who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.  

Are you finding that the company you keep is dragging you back into corruption?  Then they are the wrong company for you because you are not influencing them, they are influencing you for worst.
