How much do we care?

Prov 27:5 (NIV) “Better is open rebuke than hidden love.”
There is a love that we may have for a friend that is characterised by “dare not” in contrast to a love that “dares to”. The former refers to a love that is hidden because it hides itself by inaction. Inaction to deal with the real issues. On the other hand, there is a love that reveals itself by action. Action to deal with the real issues.
If we fail to care enough for our friend, we may consider it too much effort to take action. But if we love someone enough we should be daring enough to take a difficult action. How much do we care?
