How valuable is the Scriptures to us?

How valuable is the Scriptures to us?  God has provided us His Word in order to help us to understand His ways and to live according to it.  The Scriptures contains not the wisdom of man but the wisdom of God. 

2 Timothy 3:16 - 17 (NIV) 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,  17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  

Warren Buffett is probably the one of the most successful, if not the most successful investor in the world.  He is the second or third wealthiest man in the world.  So legendary is his skills in investment that people have paid up to $2 million to charity, just to lunch with him.  God is far wiser than Warren Buffet.  God who is all knowing, who is all wise has chosen to reveal some of His wisdom to us through His Word. Rather than pay $2 million to lunch with Warren Buffet, I rather put my life trusting in God’s Word. A better investment of my life.
