Our biggest problem...

Do you know our biggest problem in our lives is sin?  Often in the Gospels, we find that Jesus is more interested in dealing with the main problem first.  And that is the old-fashion word sin.  Sin is shown by our selfishness, self-centeredness. I want to do things my own way. Isa 53:6 (NIV)  "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; ..."   
 


This separates us from God. (Isa 59:2 NIV)  "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." 
 

It is this sin that is the root of most problems in our lives and in this world today.  It can only be dealt with properly when people choose to listen to God and to follow Him.  The first step is to turn to God and recognise our sin.  And God will forgive us.
