Our Saviour...

In the movie Superman Returns, there was a scene when Superman shares to Lois Lane about how the world sees him as a saviour.  Did Superman save the day?  Far from it.  But the Bible tells us about Jesus in Luke 19:10 (NIV) For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."  Jesus has come to seek those of us who have lost their way, who are lost in their sins.  Jesus has come to rescue us.

Jesus truly saves because He is the only One who can.  John 14:6 (NIV) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  

The Bible is very clear.  Salvation is not to be found anywhere else except through Jesus Christ.  That is a very strong assertion. This is because Jesus was specifically sent by God to save us.  Whom are we trusting today to be our Saviour?
