We are the clay, You are the potter

I always marvel at the way the potter models and remodels the clay in his/her hands and make something beautiful out of that clay.  It is an amazing exercise!   

Are we likewise as pliable as the clay in the hands of the Master Potter?  What is required for us to be malleable?  I'd reckon it is choosing to trust the Lord.  Papa God has His best for us.  We are indeed the work of His hands and whatever He starts out with, He will complete it beautifully!  

Papa God's ways are gracious, fair and kind.  As for me, I have decided to place my life in His capable hands.  I'd like to be like that clay in the Master Potter's hands! Would you? 

A verse for reflection: Isa 64 :8 "Yet O Lord You are our Father.  We are the clay, You are the potter, we are all the work of your hand."
