Do you realise that serving God and doing His will is part of the process that helps us mature our faith?
James 2:21 - 22 (NIV) 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
Being actively involved in ministry is actually good and healthy for our faith. Just as muscle which are not exercised will wither up, so too our spiritual muscles. I found that out many years ago. The more I said yes to God, the more I developed in my faith.
Let's roll up our sleeves and start serving sincerely.
