Reflections

Did you know that God is very concerned about the sincerity of our faith?  Probably more than most of us are.  

Hebrews 10:22 (NIV) let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.    

We can all look good like good Christians on the outside.  I accepted Christ in 1983.  And in that time, I learnt a lot of Christianese.  You got to know a lot of these if you are going to be a pastor.  :)  And when it comes to Christian ministry – I think I’ve got quite a lot of brownie points.  But you know what?  At the end of the day, when I come before Christ, it is about the sincerity of my faith.  Sometimes, I forget and God will remind me!
