Are we living in adultery? Are we not realising it?

James 4:4 (NIV) You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

The values of this world is in opposition to God. Because the world system is under the influence of the Devil. If we choose the world's values, we choose the values of the Devil. God cannot accept that. Many do not realise that or do not want to accept that.

When we are married we must remain faithful to our spouse. If a married man has an affair with another woman - it is adultery. That's why God considers it adultery when we have an affair with this world.

Is it just possible that we are living in spiritual adultery today?
