Reflections

Someone once said, “The Bible was divinely inspired, not merely while it was written, God breathing through the writers.  But also while it is being read, God breathing through the Scripture, and the Scripture breathing Him.” 
 

2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV) “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

In other words, not only did God breathe through human writers to bring the Scriptures into reality.  But God continues to breathe through the Scriptures to impact the reader.  There is an anointing that flows from the Scriptures because it is so full of God.   
 
Do we sense God’s breathe every Sunday when we listen to God’s Word?  Do we sense God’s breathe every day when we read God’s Word?
