One thing about God, He is incredibly consistent.

Since He functions like a family in the Godhead, He designs the human race to function in families. In the same way, He has designed His Church to function like a family. Ephesians 3:14 - 15 (NIV) For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.

We are encouraged to view one another as brothers and sisters. We are instructed to treat older believers as fathers and mothers. We are entreated to have sons and daughters in the faith. The language of family.

How can this view of spiritual family revolutionize our attitudes towards one another?
