"What is the key to your great success?" His reply was very simple “I pray and I obey” The most fitting response to undeserved blessing is unreserved obedience! Your obedience to God today determines what you’ll be for God tomorrow. Remember that God always works for our benefit when we are in obedience to him. Reflections Wilson Lim 7 June 2023 Give Thanks To God. Thanksgiving can also serve to help us look forward to the fulfilment of God’s promises to us. It reinforces in our hearts that God is faithful to the very end. God will lead us to completion of His purposes. Rom 4:21 (NIV) being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have composers to write songs of thanksgiving in our church to give thanks to God for His past acts and future deliverances? In fact, you can write your own songs of praise to give thanks to God for what He has done in your life and what you are looking forward to. Reflections Wilson Lim 8 February 2023 Why is it so crucial that Jesus is alive? 
 Why is it so crucial that Jesus is alive? One of main elements of the living hope we have is that Jesus Himself is alive! That is why there is no grave of Jesus, no dead body to be found. Bible records how it happened. Guarded by a troop of elite Roman soldiers, placed in a sealed tomb with a large rock closing the entrance. The body disappeared! Because Jesus resurrected. That is why our hope is a living hope. It is not a dead hope! Imagine if someone told you that a cure has being discovered for all kinds of cancer by a scientist. And you are so excited you want to meet this scientist. And your friend tells you that he died last month from cancer! What sort of hope is that? That is why the resurrection is so fundamental to the Christian faith. Jesus alive is prove of our hope! It proves our hope is founded on reality! 1 Peter 1:3 (NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead… What do you think? However, in every instance, we find the strength to rise again, pray for God's guidance, and choose to follow His path. He extends His hand to support us, helping us move forward. So, let's continue to hold onto the Lord, for He provides a steady foundation for our steps.
