  • Are you facing some really tough situations?
 | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 9 November 2022 Are you facing some really tough situations?
Are you facing some really tough situations? We may not see light at the end of the tunnel because of our human limitations but God can see way beyond every impossibility. Every man’s perceived impossibility is God’s opportunity to act. Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” The key is would we choose to have faith in God in such occasions? Prolonged discouragement paralyzes faith in God. Doubt is the polio of faith! We must seek to cast away doubt from our hearts and instead have faith in God. • Would you trust God to lead you? | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 4 January 2023 Would you trust God to lead you? Would you trust God to lead you? Consider this. God is omniscient. He is all-knowing. Heb 4:13 (NIV) Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. God understands everything hence he understands about the times and seasons, the circumstances that we are in. Job 37:16 (NIV) Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of him who is perfect in knowledge? God’s knowledge is perfect. God knows everything about every factor that affect a situation and He understands exactly how it will affect the situation. In other words, He knows all there is to know about a situation. Because God knows and fully understands the circumstances we are in, He alone knows the best way to proceed. Will you trust Him to lead you through it? • Replace God with the Big Bang | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 3 April 2024 Replace God with the Big Bang There are ideas that people propagate that actually undermine our faith. It is ideas and philosophies that is a tool of the Enemy to attack the faith of believers. Often such ideas try to undermine the very basis of the existence of God. For example, various scientists and philosophers try to argue the case that God is not needed to create this universe. They try to replace God with the Big Bang.

Yet the Bible tells us that creation is intended to speak of God. Romans 1:20 (NIV) For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. But those who refuse to believe in God had sought to explain away God by their own theories. Don't be tripped up by their error. • Transformed to be like Christ | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 7 May 2025 Transformed to be like Christ Are you being transformed to be more and more like Christ? Cor 3:18 (NIV) And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. When we truly experience God's, our attitudes, words, outward actions etc ought to change to be more and more like Christ. Should someone say they have experienced God, but their lives never change - I doubt it. Because that deep revelatory experience of God, whether through His Word or His touch upon our lives, will impact us and transform our convictions. • Our worship is never meant to be remain quiet... | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 8 May 2024 Our worship is never meant to be remain quiet... Our worship is never meant to be remain quiet and private. Ps 98:4 (NIV) Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music. Rather we are to shout for joy and to burst forth into jubilant song. When you want to wake up somebody who is sleeping soundly, you do not tiptoe quietly and whisper to them, “Wake up”. You shout, “Wake Up! Jeff!” like in the Wiggles famous act. In the same way, when you want to awaken worship in our hearts, you do not tiptoe and whisper. You stir it, you stimulate it, you revive it. You give it a shot in the arm! Wake up your soul and spirit to worship! Ps 57:8 (NIV) Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. So when you come to worship God, it does not help if you are quiet, subdued, reticent in your worship. • Rebound in our faith | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 2 February 2022 Rebound in our faith How can we rebound in our faith after our faith have been through a wringer? Part of the key is by returning to God, it is crucial to reconnect with God. Just like the rechargeable batteries we use to operate our mobiles. After using it for some time, it gets run down. It needs to be recharged. The batteries need to be reconnected to a power source. Our spiritual energies, our faith level can get run down after some disappointments. It needs to be recharged. We need to reconnect to God. Get down on our knee and cry out to God. Sometimes, that might feel like the hardest thing to do. Throughout the Bible we find godly leaders reconnecting with God after seasons of disappointments, even disasters. 1 Sam 30:6 (NIV) David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God. David overcame his despair because he connected with God. Unless we reconnect, we do not allow God to help us work through our disappointments. When we reconnect, God will bring us through the tough seasons and we will come out stronger. Facebook X (Twitter) WhatsApp LinkedIn Pinterest Copy link Recent Posts See All God does not leave us... • Are we living in adultery? | Wilson & Lai Ling

Reflections Wilson Lim 5 June 2025 Are we living in adultery? Are we living in adultery? Are we not realising it? James 4:4 (NIV) You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. The values of this world is in opposition to God. Because the world system is under the influence of the Devil. If we choose the world's values, we choose the values of the Devil. God cannot accept that. Many do not realise that or do not want to accept that. When we are married we must remain faithful to our spouse. If a married man has an affair with another woman - it is adultery. That's why God considers it adultery when we have an affair with this world. Is it just possible that we are living in spiritual adultery today? Facebook X (Twitter) WhatsApp LinkedIn Pinterest Copy link Recent Posts See All God does not leave us...
